The social network warned about a technical failure, but clarified that there is no evidence
that the information has been accessed by someone.
This Thursday, Twitter has unveiled a disturbing pronouncement to its 330 million users in the world. The account holder of the social network asked for the passwords of the accounts sena changed because they have found a technical failure.
According to the triune god, "a bug was found that housed the passwords on an internal record". However they highlight that they have not found evidence that the information had been accessed by someone. But they ask users to change the password of the account and all associated services as a precaution.
We recently found a bug that stored passwords unmasked in an internal log. We fixed the bug and have no indication of a breach or misuse by anyone. As a precaution, consider changing your password on all services where you’ve used this password. https://t.co/RyEDvQOTaZ— Twitter Support (@TwitterSupport) 3 de mayo de 2018
